Progetti prosegue la sua missione: osservare e documentare la cultura progettuale che si sviluppa nei vari territori italiani nei campi dell’architettura e del design. Dare voce, o meglio pagine, non solo a realizzazioni veicolate anche attraverso altre riviste, ma a quella parte della scena dell’architettura contemporanea destinata, soprattutto per la sua collocazione territoriale, a restare in ombra. La motivazione che aveva spinto a creare una rivista come questa era semplice. Chi esamini le rassegne relative all’architettura italiana realizzata negli anni recenti, vede replicarsi sovente i medesimi luoghi e progettisti. Questo deriva non tanto dal fatto che in Italia i progetti d’architettura vengano da pochi studi e uffici situati nelle grandi città, cosa peraltro falsa, quanto piuttosto dalle modalità di formulazione della comunicazione del settore, che passa pressoché totalmente attraverso giornalisti e critici che privilegiano una ricerca di tipo scolastico, che accetta sovente solo modalità espressive predeterminate. Fatto che mal si concilia con un territorio come quello del Belpaese, che conserva fortunatamente ancora un variegato panorama di diversità, di contesti culturali capaci di dare...dall'editoriale di Franco Panzini.
